Thanks also to the big support crew which made this Fieldday possible! Unfortunately OZ1AA was not able to join us so I had to go 24h straight. This was not too difficult at all as Sporadic E condx were at their best during the weekend. The rate dropped just slightly on Sunday, and then I certainly missed a few mults due to drowsiness. The Doublet with a 4:1 balun did not perform up to expectations so Martin quickly put up 2 Sloping Dipoles for 40m which played extremely well out of the box. This did not solve the 80m problem, however, so I spent a considerable amount of time on 20m with W's and JA's. The lowbands also suffered from an elevated noise level from the nearby village. Congratulations to all other record breaking teams - what a great CW Fieldday! 73, Stefan DL1IAO for the DM1A/p FD-Team DL1IAO@contesting.com http://www.dl1iao.com
