The first hour with 86 QSOs mainly on 10m remained the best of the contest.
To the end Sporadic E propagation continously declined so that 20 and 40m
became the only useful bands. 80m was harder than usual, but 160m was
excellent for compensation. Except for a few surprise multipliers from the
Caribbean this year's CW Fieldday remained a local European contest. Luckily
the predicted T-storms never arrived. Our second best CW Fieldday in the
low-power non-assisted category!
