Optibeam OB11-3 tribander (6.1m boom) @ abt 40m

A good opportunity to give the clubstation's new tribander a test run. With
1470 QSOs the first day I was in line with the planned numbers but knew that
chances for fading propagation were high on Sunday. The next morning was
painfully slow with fewer and weaker JA's and the band opened about 2 hours
late to NA. As eastcoast signals recovered nicely it's a bit hard to
understand why the QSO rate remained low for most of the afternoon. On Sunday
zone 3 has been logged only once.

With DF9ZP, DK3DM and DL8UD on the same band, this was a lot of fun.  The 40m
wires were neat when stations were calling off the beam pattern.
